Re-Launch of Sister Cities of Los Angeles, Inc.

Event Description

Sister Cities of Los Angeles was officially re-launched by Mayor Eric Garcetti, Chairman Tom Gilmore, and the new Board of Directors,  on November 9, 2016. This special event was held at Vibiana’s and was attended by about 200 invited guests.The purpose of the re-launch is to allow SCOLA to set new organizational goals, re-brand, and transition into an organization that utilizes its resources to increase substantive opportunities for Los Angeles and partner cities, while addressing common issues and challenges affecting urban challenges affecting the globe.  SCOLA is building an organization that meets the international relations needs our city, at the highest level of professionalism, vision, and resources. Los Angeles is a city whose vibrancy and future is highly dependent on the diversity of its people and its relationship with the world.
