SCOLA representatives travelled to Chengdu in early May, to initiate the process for a sister city agreement with Chengdu’s Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office. SCOLA also represented L.A at the 2017 Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair and Forum and participated in Chengdu’s Civil Servant Exchange Program that brought together individuals from 16 different countries. During the same week, SCOLA partook in Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board’s launch of the new Chengdu office. Chengdu has become LATCB’s fourth office in China.
